How can I prepare the wall for Peel & Stick?

For the self-adhesive wallpaper we especially recommend a smooth and clean surface.

  • You must give freshly painted walls 4-6 weeks to cure fully.

  • Matte, eggshell, satin and semi-gloss finishes that give your walls a smooth surface are recommended.

  • Pay attention to the type of roller used for the primer coat to ensure that the surface does not become textured, which could hinder the adhesion of the wallpaper.

  • Ensure the color is uniform and doesn't differ significantly from your chosen wallpaper for best result.

  • lt is possible to apply a peel & stick wallpaper over an existing wallpaper if the wall is dry, clean and smooth.
